Our story
Suffolk Circle is a new kind of organisation. It's about getting more out of life, getting things sorted at home and getting out and having fun. We're a membership organisation and we respond to what our members ask for so without the involvement of members and Helpers none of this would be possible.
It's an idea that people like you helped bring to life. Suffolk Circle was co-designed and tested with older people and their families, and developed by our partners at Participle Ltd. Since we launched in October of 2010, we've worked with many more people to continue shaping how it works and what we do. Suffolk Circle is a social enterprise registered in the UK as a Community Interest Company (CIC). In other words, we're a non-profit organisation and we care about people, not profit.
We've received funding from Suffolk County Council to launch and develop a sustainable model.
